Increase…

The book of Matthew 25:14-30 compares the kingdom of Heaven to three workers who’s master gave them talents before He traveled. Two of them worked hard and managed to gather profit before their master returned. Unfortunately, the last hide his and did not think enough about it to use and increase. On return the master was happy with the two but upset with the last and took the talent from him.

In other words God expects us to increase the gifts/talents He has given us. For instance, if your talent is Teaching, teach with your whole heart that one will praise your father in Heaven; that is increase right there. If it’s to comfort the brokenhearted, do so with all your heart. This could win a soul for Christ, which is another increase. The Bible states in Ecclessiates 9:10 “whatever your hands finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going”

Don’t be lazy by hiding your talent and gift or allow the enemy to talk down on your abilities. Do it to the glory of God; you never know who’s life it may touch. No gift or talent in the Kingdom of God is small no  matter the appearance. Be faithful with the least you have and you would be faithful with the much when it comes (Luke 16:10). You are so capable.

I will end with a quote from a great man of God, John Bevere.

“Everyone has a gift. What God wants you to do is multiple that gift; and the way you multiple it is by USING IT. Not been afraid, not thinking God is holding back on you, not thinking you didn’t get a fair share because you only got one and someone got five. You can multiple that one to eleven really quick if you could just be diligent”.
