Noticeable Faith…

(Mark 5:21-34)

Do not underestimate the power of Faith, it does great wonders.
The woman with the issue of blood had suffered for 12 years. The Bible says she sold all she had for treatment but grew worse. She heard Jesus was passing by and thought, only if she could touch His clothes, she’d be healed and made whole. She did exactly that and immediately Jesus asked “who touched me?” as He felt power leave Him.

Now, there were multitudes following Jesus at the time according to the Bible; I’m sure one or two people in need of miracle may have bumped into Him or even touched Him, yet Jesus barely felt them. I believe it took some kind of faith from the woman for Jesus to feel power leave him. I call this type NOTICEABLE FAITH. The kind that cannot be hidden nor denied. The kind that do not require eyes to see, the kind that can be FELT. I don’t think Jesus was looking directly at the woman else He wouldn’t have asked who touched Him but He NOTICED and FELT her faith.

You see, as believers we need this kind of faith. We shouldn’t be declaring we have faith in God with our lips and not truly mean it in our hearts. After the woman was healed, notice Jesus’ response? He said “Daughter, your FAITH has made you well”.

If our faith isn’t making us well then we need to be asking ourselves some serious questions. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:6, it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God without faith.

Simply put, want to please God? Have FAITH! How do you develop faith? Read, THE BIBLE DAILY! And believe every single word it says and apply them into your life. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17). The end!
I’m praying for you.

Blessings,
