Cry Out To Him…. He Really Doesn’t Mind…

“….. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth he began to cry out and say “Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me!” And many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Mark 10:47 & 48.

Reading the scripture above made me think about the trail I’m going through at present, the trails we go through as believers. Bartimaeus was blind and I believe he had tried all he could to be healed before meeting Jesus. He heard Jesus was passing by and knew he had to do something to get His attention, which he believed would lead to his healing (that in itself is, great faith).

Sometimes we may feel like God has passed us by, so we pull back, become bitter or start feeling sorry for ourselves. We must stop entertaining these feelings for two reasons.
1. He Himself has said, He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).
2. The enemy preys on the weak
(1 Peter 5:8).

Cry out to God and let no human or circumstance stop you. Noticed, some of the people around tried to silence Bartimaeus from crying out but that didn’t deter him; in fact it pushed him to cry louder. He managed to get Jesus’ attention in versus 49-52, and was healed. Who knows what would’ve happened if he had kept quiet?!

Don’t ever give up on God, He hasn’t passed you by. Hold unto your faith; even the tiniest amount left and when you have done everything humanly possible, that is made effort in that situation, prayed, worshipped, praised, even fasted and still no result, Just CRY OUT to Him; HE REALLY DOESN’T  MIND. And like Bartimaeus, your healing and restoration will come if you don’t give up.

I’m praying for you.

  1. Hebrews 13:16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

You just pleased God by Sharing this. Your season of Trial Shall be crowned by an Overwhelming Testimony coming your way This year 2016. You are Blessed.
